DAUM
The work born from the collaboration between Daum and Yann Masseyeff reveals the artist’s sensibility through a piece whose raw and powerful form draws from very ancient origins, tribal shapes that become an allegory of time: two elements, four different compositions expressing evolution. It reflects the artist’s meditation on uncertainty and on our fleeting passage through life.
The shared vision between Daum and Yann Masseyeff, the trace we leave behind, testimony through art, and the emotion conveyed by material, gave rise to Evolution, a limited-edition artwork produced in only eight pieces. Created in pâte de cristal, a unique material celebrated for its interplay of texture, light, and reflection, the work conveys a singular and deeply resonant emotion.
